SCOPE

Create a thorough exploration of Amanda and Sylvester the Monster through storyboards and set design for use in a short animated film about childhood empowerment. Write the corresponding children's book.

PROCESS

I wrote a rhyming children's story about a precocious little girl who discovers a lonely monster locked away in the cellar of her family home. She adopts the creature and makes the beast her best friend, whether he likes it or not!

RESULT

We created a thorough set of character concepts and explored the gamut of designs before settling  on our favorite.
